Momos originated in Nepal.

They are more commonly known as dumplings. it was originally made by the Newar community. Since this was a community of tradesmen, they brought this recipe to the rest of the nepal and soon it became famous in regions of Nepal, Tibet, Bhutan and now India

Today’s my recipe is a fusion momo.

  1. 1 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cup grated dark chocolate
  3. 1 cup chopped ripe banana
  4. 1 cup grated coconut
  5. 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  6. Salt for taste

Make a dough with flour, salt and water. Keep it 1/2 to 1 hour.
Banana, Coconut, chocolate & Sugar

Then roll it like small chappathis. Fill the centre with mixed ingredients and top with little butter.

Then cover and fold it into desired shape.

Cook it in a steamer 15 to 20 minutes… We will get around 12 momos. And garnish with chocolate sauce.
