Kebabs are an all-time favourite. Veggies will like this Kebab.


Sauted onion, potato, mushrooms and other ingredients
After the cooking of other ingredients when paneer added
Grounded ingredients
Oval shaped Kebabs

Egg and bread crumbs
Deep frying in the oil
Now Kebab is ready to serve


  1. 200g paneer
  2. 200g potato (2medium)
  3. 100g button mushrooms
  4. 1 onion finely chopped
  5. 2 green chilies
  6. 2 tbsp ginger thinly sliced
  7. 1/4 TSP chili powder
  8. 1/4 TSP pepper powder
  9. 1/2 TSP all spice powder
  10. Pinch turmeric powder
  11. 3 tbsp coriander & curry leaves
  12. Salt to taste
  13. 1 or 2 egg
  14. 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  15. Oil for frying


  1. Heat 3 tbsp oil and saute onion, ginger, green chilies for two minutes. Add thinly chopped potatoes, mushrooms, leaves and powdered ingredients then saute it for another two minutes to cook. Add salt.
  2. Grind the sauted ingredients in a blender.
  3. Roll it into small flat packers.
  4. Beat the egg and dip the Kebabs in it and then roll it out in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Deep fry until nicely brown. Place on an absorbent paper. Serve it with chutney or tomato ketchup.

    I’m actually a vegetarian. I do eat eggs tho, but, if I could avoid it, I would.

      Salina you may use all-purpose flour with water to make a thin batter and dip the Kebabs!
