This is a hot red chili chutney. Less ingredients are required for this. In the rainy season we eat it with rice soup(Kanji).
Sauted ingredients for chutney
- 15 red chili
- 10 shallot
- Small piece of tamarind
- 3 spring curry leaves
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil
- Heat the oil then saute the redchili,shallot and curry leaves.
- When the colour of chili turns a little dark add tamarind and salt saute a while then remove from the fire.
- Let it cool. Then blend smoothly.
