Sesame seeds are very good for health. We can make it with chutney, sweet balls etc.. Today i make it with a chutney.


Saute the shallots in the hot oil and keep aside to cool

Sputter the sesame seeds then add ginger to saute a while and remove from the fire. Add chili, tamarind and salt

Blend all the ingredience in a blender


  1. 3 tbsp sesame seed
  2. 1/2 tbsp chopped ginger
  3. handful shallot
  4. 1 tsp red chili powder
  5. Small piece of tamarind for taste
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 3 tbsp veg.oil


  1. Heat 2 tbsp oil and sputter the sesame seeds add chopped ginger saute a while and add other ingredients, do not allow to burn.
  2. Add chopped shallots in 1 tbsp oil and saute it into 2 minutes. Keep aside to cool.
  3. Add it into the blender and blend. Enjoy with dosa and boiled rice.
