I always love different versions of spinach dishes and I also like to farm some edible leaves . Recently a rat was destroying my plants and the soil was scattered everywhere. Then I decided to move the plants into a new pot and kept that pot in a carton. After that the rat didn’t attack my plants.
Spinach has a lot of health benefits. It contain lot of iron, nutrients, vitamin b6, vitamin K, magnesium, fights cancer etc. Every day 1/2 cup of cooked spinach should be consumed to reduce ageing problems.
- 1 bunch spinach
- 1 onion
- 1/2 cup freshly grated coconut
- 2 green chili
- 1 egg
- Salt to taste
- Pinch turmeric
- 1 tbsp veg.oil
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- Pinch cumin
- Wash and dry the spinach, then nicely chop the spinach. Pour 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a hot tawa and add 1/2 tsp mustard and cumin to sputter.
- After sputtering add well chopped onion and slitted green chili then saute a minute then add 1/2 cup freshly grated coconut, turmeric and chopped spinach. Stir a while then add salt and cook with low flame.
- In Around three minutes the spinach will be cooked. Whisk the egg with a pinch salt and pour it in the side of cooked spinach to saute. At last stir all the ingredients combine well. Serve with hot. Try it, excellent taste.
