Many of us like Halwa. Jack fruit halwa is an all time favourite Halwa in Kerala. Easy to make. Jack fruit has a strong scent.

- 1 1/2 cup jack fruit
- 1 cup all purpose flour 1/2 cup jaggery syru
- 3 to 4 tbsp ghee
- 2 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp cashew nuts and 1 tbsp raisins
- pinch of nutmeg and cardamom powder
Blend Sliced jack fruit in a blender.Mix flour and milk then add it into the blender. Blend it to combine.
Add this solution in a heavy bottom pan with one cup of water. Stir it to combine well. Add the jaggery syrup.
Then heat the mix in a low flame and stir continuously. When halwa batter becomes thick add one cup of milk in it. Then stir constantly with the help of ghee.
After 25 to 30 minutes it will be foamy and sticky. If needed add little ghee and stir occasionally.When it starts to leave the sides add the raisins, cashew nuts and spice powder. Remove from the fire. After cooling cut it and enjoy.
