LASSI is a classic yogurt from Indian subcontinent. In hot summer we can make different flavors of LASSI. So I made this LASSI with goose berry, mint and ginger. GOOSE BERRY has antioxidant content, beneficial to the heart, treats many health problems. GINGER reduces pain and inflamation. MINT has a cooling effect. It has calming and soothing herb.
- 3 goose berry
- 1 cup yogurt
- Hand ful mint leaves
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 spring curry leaves
- Salt to taste.
- Seed out the goose berry and nicely chop the goose berry and ginger. Add these chopped ingredients in the blender with mint, curry leaves and salt.
- Blend it with 1/2 cup of water and little yogurt.
- When it blends finely add the balance of yogurt to blend.
- Drain in a stainer.
- Add some ice cubes and enjoy the detoxifying and cooling effect.
