HOLI CELEBRATION

HOLI is an Ancient HINDU festival, originatING from the Indian Sub Continent, Nepal and Pakistan. HOLI IS popularly known as the FESTIVAL OF SPRING, the FESTIVAL OF COLORS, the FESTIVAL OF LOVE. the festival represents arrival of SPRING, the end of winter, blossoming love, forget and forgive and repair of broken relationships.

The festival begins and ends  some where between the end of February and the middle of March in the Gregorian Calender.

This year thursday 21st March is HOLI . Celebrations start on the night before HOLI. The frolic and fight with colors occurs in the open streets, open park, out side buildings and temples. People on this day throw colored powder on each other. After playing with colors and cleaning up they bath to wear clear clothes and visit friends and family.
