It is an elegant recipe for veg.lovers. I also a vegetable lover. I assure you this excellent taste you will like. I use to cook with a heavy bottom pot and cooker also because of time saving. We enjoy along with bread, chappathi, nan etc. Only less ingredients we need for this stew.


  1. 1/2 kg cauliflower
  2. 1 potato
  3. 2 tbsp veg.oil
  4. 1 tsp mustard
  5. 1 inch long ginger
  6. 1 green chili
  7. 7 garlic cloves
  8. pinch ginger
  9. 1 tsp pepper powder
  10. 1 tsp all spice powder
  11. 1/2 part of coconut grated
  12. Salt to taste

IMG_20190315_132042Peel to cube potato and wash it off, then shredded the cauliflower and wash it off

IMG_20190315_132227Crush the ginger, green chili and garlic

1/2 cup of first extraction of milk and 2 cup of second extraction of milk

Heat heavy bottomed pot with vegetable oil and let the mustard to sputter. Then saute the the crushed ingredients 1 to 2 minutes. Add the diced potato and cauliflower stir two minutes and add turmeric, pepper, all spice powder

Pour 2 cup of 2nd milk and salt, then cook in a cooker. After 2 whistles switch off the flame

IMG_20190315_143914Allow to cool and then check, if it is cooked transfer cooked ingredients into the first sauted pot. Pour the first in the simmer flame and if need more flavour add little all spice powder.
