WHEAT PIZZA

Enjoy dinner at home with this easy recipe for home made wheat pizza dough.

I halved the pizza in skillet and topped with carrot, capsicum, beans, tomato, egg, cabbage, butter, sliced cheese and pepper.

PIZZA MAKING

  1. 2 envelopes active dry yeast (1/4 ounce each)
  2. 2 tbsp sugar
  3. 2 tsp salt
  4. 4 cup wheat flourIMG_20190314_100614

METHOD

  1. Pour 1 and 1/2 cup warm water into a large bowl sprinkle with yeast and keep until foamy about 5 minutes.
  2. Whisk sugar, oil and salt into yeast mix it. Add wheat flour and stir until a dough forms. Transfer dough to a oiled bowl and brush with oil. Cover bowl with a plastic wrap and keep aside. Until dough has doubled about one hour. It depends on climate. Turn out onto a lightly flat surface. Gently knead 2 to 3 times before using.
  3. Dough can be stored in an oiled bowl covered with plastic in refrigerator.

PROCESS

I used butter to saute the vegetables except tomato and added a pinch of salt and pepper powder. Then I topped the pizza with vegetables, egg, sauce and cheese.

INGREDIENTS

  2. Whisk sugar, oil and salt into yeast and mix it. Add wheat flour and press until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer dough into a oiled bowl brush with oil. Cover with a plastic rap and keep aside.
  4. Until dough has doubled about 1 hour . Turn out onto a slightly flat surface gently knead 2 to 3 times before using.
  5. In a heated pan add some butter (50 g)and saute the vegetables with 2 tbsp pepper powder and little salt except tomato.
  6. Fill the pizza top with sauces, cheese, tomato, sliced egg omelette and saute vegetables.
  7. Bake it in an oven 15 minutes or bake on a stove top with griddle.
