My childhood days are colorful and memorable. I think about those days when purchasing the vegetables and fruits. At that time in my land there was plenty of pineapple plants. After getting tired playing we would cut the pineapple and peel it off then divided it with friends and enjoyed. But today we are living in boxes.
I remember those days with this recipe. I never ever thought the centre piece of pineapple was useful and never thought it is delicious. But it is delicious. This is the first time I am making a recipe with pineapple centre piece.
1 pineapple centre piece long thinly chopped
Oil to fry
1/2 cup all purpose flour(maida)
2 tbsp sugar
Pinch black cumin seeds
Salt to taste
Mix the above ingredients with water to make a thick batter. If needed more softness add a pinch of baking powder.
Heat the oil in the frying pan, thinly cutted centre pieces of the pineapple then dip into the batter
And fry both sides till it has a golden colour. Serve and enjoy.
