In Kerala during lunch time most of the people like to have different types of curries with cooked rice. This is the habit of Kerala. Now a days we all are busy with jobs and house maintenance so most have settled down with one or two dishes


  1. 1/2 cup minced chicken
  2. 1/2 cup grated coconut
  3. 1/2 cup potato chopped
  4. 1 onion chopped
  5. 1 tsp ginger chopped
  6. 1 tsp garlic chopped
  7. 1 tbsp coconut oil
  8. 1 tsp mustard
  9. 1 spring curry leaves
  10. Salt
  11. 2 Green chili
  12. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  13. 1/2 tsp fennel
  14. 1/2 all spice powder






Let the mustard , fennel, curry leaves sputter in the oil. Add chopped onion, green chili, gingergarlic and saute for a while

Then coconut, spice powder and turmeric.


Add the potato and stir for a minute and put the minced chicken and salt.

Enjoy with rice.
