RADISH CHAPPATHI

Radish is also called ooli. I prepared a stuffed chappathi with radish leaf.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup wheat powder

1/4 kg radish leaf

1 onion sliced

1 tsp cumin seed

Pinch of fenugreek powder (kasthuri methi)

1 tomato chopped

1 ginger garlic paste or chopped

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp all spice powder

Salt to taste

1 tbsp ghee

Oil

METHOD

Mix salt and water, then pour it in to the wheat flour to make a dough. Then keep aside.

Pour oil in a tawa and when it becomes hot add the cuminseeds and let it sputter then add sliced onion, green chili, ginger garlic, tomato one by one. And after put the spice, chili, fenugreek (kasthuri methi) powders and salt. Cook it for two three minutes.

 

Fill the chappathi with cooked radish leaves and cover it with another chappathi.Then place the filled chappathis in the hot tawa. Pour little ghee on both sides. Enjoy with pickle.

 

 

 

 

 

One of my friend gifted me with some radish leaves. She got it from her collegue. Radish has magnificent health benefits. They have lot of VITAMIN C, CARBOHIDRATES, MINERALS, HEALTH FOR HEART…..
