Split yellow pea has low cooking time.
1/2 cup peas (100g)
2 green chili
1 tsp ginger chopped
1 tsp garlic chopped
1 tomato chopped
1 cup spinach chopped (50g)
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp mustard
1 tsp cumin
pinch of all spice powder
Cook the peas with enough water and remove it from the fire
Heat the oil to sputter the mustard and cumin, Then add sliced shallots green chili, gingergarlic then saute,
When it becomes golden add tomato, cooked yellow splitted peas, spinach, salt and stir it for two minutes
Then pour the water according to the need, when it boils cook it in a slow flame.When the gravy thickens sprinkle a pinch of all spice powder and stir a while then remove from the fire.
