Adding of familiar tasty items will give us a good dish. Some times in our home we only have a small quantity of chicken and veg. so we have to mix to make a new dish.

I added equal proportion of Chicken and chinese potato in this recipe.


  1. 1 cup chicken
  2. 1 cup chinese potat o
  3. 1 cup onion
  4. 1 tomato chopped
  5. 1 tbsp ginger chopped
  6. 1 garlic chopped
  7. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  8. 2 spring corriander leaves
  9. 3 spring curry leaves
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 3 tbsp oil
  12. 1 tsp mustard
  13. 1 tsp fennel
  14. 1 tbsp chilli powder
  15. 2 tbsp corriander powder
  16. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  17. 1 tsp garam masala powder (all spices)
  18. 1 spring mint leaf



  • First we heat the pan then pour the oil and put fennel, mustard for sputtering and add sliced onion, ginger, garlic and leaves to saute about two minutes
  • Add tomato, gingergarlic paste and stir it well, then put all the masala powders into the pan and just saute it.

  • Add chinese potato in the masala to mix it and pour two cup of water and salt, then allow it to cook when it is half cooked add chicken pieces in it. Then cook it.

  • Let the gravy become dry. Sprinkle a little curry leaves and corriander leaves. Remove it from the fire.

  • Enjoy with boiled rice.
