RADISH LEAF WITH DAL THORAN

Radish is a root crop and is juicy, sweet in taste.

They can be white, red, purple and black. They are eaten raw or cooked. The oil obtained from the seeds of radish is used in a number of beautiful health applicants.There are Lots of health benefit in radish. Treats jaundice, boost immunity, aids in digestion, prevent piles, treat cancer, treat urinary disorders, weight loss, improves cardio cascular system, skin care, treats fever etc. 

INGREDIENTS

12 radish leaves chopped

1 cup cooked dal

1 cup grated coconut, 1 green chilly, 1 onion thinly chopped, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder mixed together.

 

Salt to taste

1 tbsp oil

METHOD FOR COOKING

Mix chopped leaves, coconut, green chilly, onion, turmeric and salt.

Heat the pan with oil to sputter mustard then add the mixed ingredients for cooking, simmer the fire and sprinkle little water.

Leaves do not need much time to cook. Take five minutes for cooking then add cooked dal to mix in it.

Take the next two minutes for the flavours to incorporate. Remove from the fire and enjoy with boiled rice.
