SPICY TOMATO CHICKEN

 

 


Chicken is largely using poultry in the world. While chicken is a lean meat with loads of protein, it is also high in cholesterol. Removing of skin reduce the cholesterol. However, chicken provides selenium which contains antioxidants that help to control free radicals and improve immune system.

3 chicken leg piece

1/4 kg onion

2 piece ginger

1 tomato

18 garlic cloves

1 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp pepper powder

2 spring curry leaves

Salt to taste

3 tbsp oil

METHOD OF COOKING

Slice the onions and split the chillies.

Grind ginger and garlic to a fine paste

Heat the oil to sputter the curry leaves. Add the onion and green chillies to saute well.

Then simmer the flame to add chilli powder and turmeric and saute it.

Add the chicken pieces and stir the water from the chicken evaporated.

Add all the other ingredients and little water to cook till done.

When done add blended

tomato and sauce to

incorporate with gravy. Leave it for gravy to thicken and oil separated.

Serve hot with chappatis and bread.
