We make Different type of wadas . The recipe and taste vary according to the area. I am sharing here a different kind of recipe.


1 carrot grated

1/4 cup snake gourd diced

1/4 cup beans grated

1 onion diced

1/4 cup bread crums

1/4 cup semolina

1/4 cup besan powder

1 green chilli chopped

1 tsp ginger chopped

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp chilli powder

Pinch turmeric powder

salt to taste

1 beaten egg for binding

Pinch baking soda

1/4 cup curry leaves and corriander leaves chopped


Mix above ingredients to make a dough with little water excluding the oil.

Keep it for half an hour. Then make the dough into wada shape.

Heat the oil in a pan then slowly put the wada and allow to cook in a low fire


By adding a little garam masala we will get a special taste.
