In Kerela we make different types of fish curry. Espescially in Central Travancore chilly fish curry is usual in our life. This curry can be kept fresh for several days. Every day we just heat the fish the curry will not spoil. If you like spicy flavour definitly try this.

Tuna has a lot of health benefits. It is a power house of essential nutrients such as omega fatty acids, pottasium, magnesium, iron, vitamin A, B6 and B12.

Tuna comprises omega – 3 fatty acids, which helps in bringing balance in the blood vessels there by reducing cholesterol in the arteries.

1 kg tuna fish

2 tbsp coconut or veg. oil

1 tsp mustard

1 tsp fenugreek

3 shallot

4 tbsp chilli powder

( kashmiri) I am using kashmiri chilli powder, if too much heat is needed1 add usual chilli powder and kashmiri powder equally.

1 tbsp chopped ginger

1 tbsp garlic chopped

1 green chilli chopped

1/2 tsp crushed gingergarlic

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp fenugreek powder

Salt to require

Heat oil and sputter mustard, fenugreek and curry leaves. Add ginger, garlic, green chilly, shallot fry until slightly brown,

reduce the fire then add chilly, turmeric, fenugreek powders saute a while with crushed gingergarlic

Enjoy with tapioca and rice.
