INGREDIENTS

1/2 papaya grated

1 cup cooked green gram

1 cup grated coconut

3 shallot

4 garlic cloves

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

Salt to taste

2 tbsp oil

For shallow fry

Shallot, mustard, curry leaves

PREPARATION

Crush 3 to 7 ingredients

Add two tbsp oil in a pan to put mustard to sputter then add sliced shallot, curry leaves and crushed ingredients.

  • Add grated papaya
  • Add salt and sprinkle little water then close with lid to cook in simmered flame. After two three minute add in cooked green gram
  • Close the lid. Allow to cook a while and saute well. Thoran is ready to serve. Enjoy the benefit of this thoran.
