CHILLI BEEF

Beef has a tempting taste . In my childhood days in my home every sunday we bought beef.

At that time we were waiting to be called for lunch.

But these days every morning and evening its the same .Child hood days we were always playing, fighting with sisters and brothers.

I am sharing a simple cooking method of chilli beef.

PREPARATION

DIFFICULTY – EASY

TIME – 30 MINUTES

MARINATION – 2 HOURS

1/2 kg beef cut into squares

2 large onion cut into eight wedges

2 capsicum cut into squares

6 green chillies slitted

4 tsp cornflour mix in stock

4 tbsp oil

FOR MARINATION

  1. Beef half cooked (make in a cooker 2, 3 whistles)
  2. 5 garlic cloves and a small piece of ginger crushed
  3. 1/2 tsp pepper powder
  4. 2 tbsp soy sauce
  5. 1 tbsp sugar
  6. Salt to taste

Mix together and marinate the meat in this for one night or two, three hours.

COOKING METHOD

Heat oil to saute onion then add capsicum, chillies and saute a minute.

Remove and keep aside. Add remaining oil to fry the beef mixture until meat colour changes.

Lower the flame and add the stock with cornflour to cook till the water evaporates. Add capsicum, chilli and onion then mix well.

Serve with chappathy, nan or boiled rice.
