In Kerala every house has a snack to bite in evening time. Because the children come with empty stomach. Today’s my snack is sweet wheat.
1 cup wheat powder
1 cup grated coconut
1/2 cup stoneless jaggery grated
1 tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
Water according to the need.
Boiling water will give smoothness to wheat. So you can add boiling water to make dough like chappathy dough.
Mix the grated coconut, jaggery and cumin powder.
Shape the dough into a flat type and fill the inside with sweet mix then fold and close with finger tips.
Place it in the steamer on the flame with water boiling. Keep the wheat balls in to the steamer and allow to cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Enjoy with black tea.
