Yummy taste of banana rolls is amazing. I prefer to enjoy this snack in the evening time.
We have to add many types of dry fruits in the filling of this banana dish. Available seasonal dry fruits we can add. The taste of the yummy fruits and coconut makes our mouth water.
PREPARATION – EASY
TIME – 15 TO 20
SERVE – 4
1 cup grated coconut
2 tbsp sugar
10 no dates chopped and soaked in little water
1 cumin powder
1 tsp ghee
Grated coconut add into the heated pan with ghee and saute a while then add soaked dates and sprinkle little water and stir two minutes then two table spoon sugar, cumin powder and sprinkle it in. Remove from the fire and keep aside.
- Banana steamed in a steamer for three four minutes after removing heat, cut into two equal parts.
- Then remove the black seeds in the banana.
- Fill the inner side with coconut mix.
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 tbsp cornflour
A pinch turmeric powder
1 tbsp sugar
Salt to taste
Mix above ingredients well. Add water to make a thick batter.
Heat the tawa with coconut oil or vegetable oil. Dip the filled banana into the batter and fry in the hot oil. When Banana roll becomes golden brown, take it from the oil and place a tissue paper to remove excess oil .
Yummy mouth watering banana roll is ready to serve.
