KEBABS are considered to have originated in Turkey when soldiers used to grill chunks of freshly hunted animals skewered on swords on open field fires. The name was found in the script of Kyssa-1 Yusuf in 1377, which is the oldest known source where KEBAB is stated as a food item.

KEBABS are prepared with spices and grilled on SKEWERS and in TANDOOR.

I am using the method of frying in hot oil.

1/2 kg minced chicken

1 1/2 large onion finely chopped

3 green chilli finely chopped

2 tbsp ginger paste

1 egg

1/2 tbsp garam masala powder

2 tbsp corriander leaves & salt


Mix the all ingredients well.

Take the mixture equally and roll it in KEBAB shape. Fry in hot oil in a tawa.

Try it with chutneys and sauces.
