Sail fish contains large amount of Protein and mininal amount of saturated fats. It is also a good source of Calcium and Ohosphorus. Sail fish contains a lot of Vitamins and Minerals.

I have tried this recipe it is very tasty and crunchy.

  1. 1/4 kg sail fish
  2. 1tsp pepper powder
  3. 1 tsp chilli powder
  4. pinch turmeric powder
  5. 1 tsp gingergarlic paste
  6. 1 lemon squeezed
  7. 1 tbsp chopped corriander leaves
  8. 1 tbsp curry leaves chopped
  9. salt to taste
  10. 1 egg
  11. 1 tbsp flour
  12. oil for fry


Clean and cut the sail fish into thin fillets. Mix All ingredients except fish and oil in a bowl then marinate it with these ingredients about two hours.

.Heat the oil in a pan and add the marinated fish then fry in a low flame. Tasty crunchy fish fry ready to serve with salads.
