INGREDIENTS OF THIS DISH IS SIMPLE
1 kg chicken
200 ml cocomut oil
200 gm tomato
300 gm onion
50 gm garlic
50 gm ginger
10 green chillies
3 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp turmeric
1/2 tsp chilli powder
Lime juice to taste
Salt to taste
Cut Chicken into small pieces. Chop the onions.
Make a puree of tomato, garlic, green chillies and ginger.
Fry onions till brown. Add curry leaves and puree.
Saute it for five minutes, add turmeric and chilli powder. Stir for few minutes and add chicken and water. When it is half cooked, add pepper powder.
Just before removing from fire add lime juice if needed.Enjoy spicy Chettinad dish.
