HOME MADE PUDDING WITH FRUIT SALAD

Pudding is commonly served in wedding and most other celebrations and this is a very interesting recipe. I used less number of ingredients.

Time: 30 minutes

Preparation : Easy

2 cup milk

1/2 cup sugat

1/4 cup cornflour

2 egg yolk

2 tsp vanila essence

1/2 tbsp butter

Beat egg yolk in a mediun sized steel heavy bottom vessel then add cornflour and sugar with half cup of milk and whisk well.

I am using a double boiling method. Add 1/4 th water in a heavy bottom pan and place the whisked milk in the water and stir constantly. Whisk constantly until the mixture is smooth and thickens like mayonise.

 

Remove from the fire and stir with butter and vanila essence.

If you don’t stir continuously lumps will form. So the strainer helps in removing lumps.

Pour the pudding into a serving dish then cover with a plastic wrapper and referigerate until well chilled, it will take about two to three hours.

FRUIT SALAD

Pomogranate seed contain high levels of antioxidants. It can help remove free radicals, protect cells from damage and reduce inflamation.

Apples are extremely rich in important antioxidants, flavanoids and dietary fiber, reduces chance ofdeveloping cancer etc..

Major benefit of fully ripe banana is, it provides plenty of nutrients.

We must add different types of fruit available from our location.

1 apple squarely chopped

1 pomogranate

1 yellow plantain chopped and one minute cooked with little water and sugar

2 green plantain chopped

5 drops of lemon

 

Add all fruit to a large mixing bowl and squeeze lemon and evenly coat.

 

 

Arrange the fruits on the pudding and relax with the cool pudding.

 

 

 

To prevent crystals forming in the ice cream, use an aluminium dish and cover tight with cling film.
