Every one like tea time snacks. It makes us more energetic to do work and spend time with our family and friends.

Unniyappam is a traditional dish of Kerala. It made from rice flour, wheat flour, banana, jaggery, coconut and deep fried in oil or ghee.

1 and 1/2 cup rice flour

1/2 cup flour

Ripe banana 3

Blended ripe banana

Jaggery syrup 1/2 cup

Grated coconut 1 cup

Baking powder and Cardamom

Crushed Cardamom

Fried Grated Coconut

Mix blended banana and jaggery then add the rice flour, wheat flour, fried coconut, baking powder and crushed cardamom. Knead with hand to form a paste.

Keep it aside for two hours. Fill oil or ghee in the unniyappa tawa to heat and pour 1 table spoon mix in each dig and fry.
