PANEER BUTTER MASALA

 

Paneer butter masala is very delecious

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2 kg paneer cut into cubes
  2. 3 onion chopped
  3. 2 ” ginger chopped
  4. 10 garlic cloves
  5. 3 tbsp cashew paste
  6. 2 tbsp dry chilli powder

 

  1. 1 cup milk
  2. 4 no tomato puree
  3. 2 tsp Cumin roasted
  4. 1 tsp garam masala
  5. Salt for taste
  6. 1/2 tsp sugar
  7. 1 or 2 capsicum cut into julien
  8. 3 onion cut into rings
  9. 2 green chilly cut into length wise.
  10. 1 tsp fenu greek powder ( kasuri methi 1 tbsp)
  11. 4 tbsp Oil
  12. 3 tbsp butter

How to Prepare

Puree the tomato paste and keep aside. Blend onion, garlic, ginger together to make a fine paste. Saute the onion paste in the oil till golden. Add dry chilli powder and saute for 1 minute. Add milk gradually and cook 2, 3 minutes. Add cashew paste. Add the tomato puree and cook till the oil separates, add cumin, garam masala, sugar and salt. Mix for a few seconds add 3 cup of water and cook till the gravy becomes thick. Sprinkle the fenugreek powder or leaves and keep aside. Heat a pan to melt the butter with capsicum green chilli and onion. Saute it for 3 minutes. Add paneer and this seasoning into the thick gravy and keep on fire for 2, 3 minutes. Serve with chappathy, nan or white rice.
