This Small type of fish is commonly used for making fish fry and fish peera. I always like this fish fry. Anchovies are a good source of poly unsaturated fatty acids, they are beneficial for heart health. Eating anchovies can reduce the cholesterol in the blood.
Omega 3 fatty acids, protiens and various nutrients are present in the anchovies.
Today I am going to make anchovies fry
Cleaned anchovies 1/4 kg Dry chilli powder 1tbp pepper powder 1/2 tbp gingergarlic paste 1/2 tbp turmeric 1/4 tsp lime juice 1/2 tsp salt for taste oil for shallow frying
Apply all above ingredients in the fish except oil. Keep for half an hour for marination.
Heat oil in a pan and drop the fishes in it. Simmer the flame and allow it to fry both sides.
Serve hot and taste the crunchiness.
