Both leaves and roots make wonders for your health. It is rich in source of antioxidants and nutrients.


  1. Coconut 1 cup
  2. Cumin 1 tsp
  3. Turneric 1/4 tsp
  4. Small onion 5 no
  5. Green chilly  3 no
  6. Coconut oil 2 tbp
  7. Mustard 1/2 tsp
  8. Dry chilli 2 no
  9. Curry leaves

Peal the colocasia  (5 nos), then cut it into cube size and cook with water. Strain the water. Add slitted green chillies, sliced small onions, salt and one cup of water to cook two three minutes.

Finely blend above 1 to 4 ingredients. Add the mix into the colocasia. When it come to boil add the sauted curd and remove it from fire.

Let the mustard to sputter. Add chopped small onion, dry chilli, curry leaves to saute and in golden colour pour it into the colocasia gravy.
