Onam Memories
We are celebrating onam days with defferent kinds of games.
Swings, tug of war, playing with the kite etc … We make flower mat on onam days.
We all are celebrating onam irrespective of caste or politics.
In my childhood days, thiruvonam nal we enjoyed our lunch in this way, we sit on floor and then have lunch on banana leaves and the rice is accompanied with defferent type of vegetable dishes. At last we enjoy payasam, pappad and banana fruit.
One of the payasam rice adapradhaman I am sharing :-
Rice Ada 1 cup

Milk 7 cup
Sugar 1 1/2 cup
Ghee 2 tbsp
Cashew nuts 1 tbsp
Raisins 1/2 tbsp
Cardamom powder 1/2 tea spn
Preparation
Soak Ada into two cup of hot water for 15 minutes.

Boil 7 cups of milk.

Add the the soaked ada into the milk and stir well.
When Ada becomes soft and milk reduces then add the sugar in it and stir for two to three minutes, turn off the flame and sprinkle cardamom powder.
Heat the ghee and fry cashew nuts and raisins and pour it into the ada pradhaman.

Sweet Adapradhaman payasam ready to serve.
