CHAPPATHI AND BEEF MASALA

Wheat are good source of B vitamin. Another B vitamin folic acid helps the body from red blood cells.

CHAPPATHI

1/4 kg Wheat flour

Water & salt

Make dough with the flour by adding salt and water. Make balls and spread it round with chappathi roller. Put chappathi in hot tawa and cook both sides and apply little oil on both sides.

BEEF MASALA

Beef provide nutrients like zinc, iron, protein and B vitamin, and half of the fat found in beef is monosaturated.

Some red meats are high in saturated fat, whichraise blood cholesterol.

METHOD

  1. 1/4 kg beef 3/4 cooked
  2. 1 onion chopped
  3. 1 inch ginger finely chopped
  4. 8 garlic cloves chopped
  5. Salt for taste
  6. 3 tbsp coconut oil

FOR GRAVY

  1. 1/2 cup grated
  2. 1/2 tbsp coriander seeds
  3. 4 dried red chili
  4. 1 small cinnamon
  5. 1 cardamom
  6. 1 cloves
  7. 1 starnise
  8. 1/2 tbsp peppercorns & 1 spring curry leaves

All above ingredients saute together in a pan with low flame. Until it slightly brown remove from the flame and keep it for cool. Add it into the blender and crushed it. Then add enough water to grind as well.

METHOD

Heat the oil and add the onion, green chili, ginger, garlic saute well. Add cooked beef and salt according to the taste to stir well. Then add the ground paste and 1 and 1/2 cup water to cook in low flame. When it becomes thicken remove from the flame and enjoy the savoury taste of this beef masala with CHAPPATHI.
