String Hopers

String hoppers is easy to make delicious South Indian steamed rice noodle. Rich in fibre, easly digestive, lowers cholesterol and rich in antioxident.

Ingredients

Finely powdered rice

Flour – 3 cup

Salt – to taste

Ghee – 1 tea spoon

Water- needed

Grated coconut – 2 cup

Method

Boil some water with salt. After boiling add ghee and flour then mix well and knead it till soft. Then fill into the string maker and place grated coconut in the string stand then make round strings.

Place the string stand into the steamer and steam about five minutes. Remove from fire. Delicious string hopers ready.

Tasty break fast dry with coconut milk and sugar.
